Mahindra’s Future in Australia

Following the XUV700 update, Mahindra is set to bring a revised Scorpio four-wheel drive to Australia later this year, after pausing sales to add autonomous emergency braking (AEB)—now required under Australian safety regulations.

The brand is also eyeing battery-electric vehicles (BEVs), signaling a shift from its traditional agricultural utility focus to a modern lifestyle brand. Meanwhile, the current Mahindra Pik-Up will be discontinued soon, with a replacement expected in 2026.
